My son has a friend on his soccer team that
deals with JD every day. He is this amazing young boy who plays with
abandment. With his glucometer at his side, he gives 100% on and off the
field. He’s such a great role model for my son and so many others. I hope to
help my son’s friend and this organization somehow in the future.

As we enter this new year of 2013, many of us make promises to do something good for ourselves, such as lose weight, spend more time with loved ones, travel more or to do more volunteer work to help those less fortunate. Some of these attempts will fall a little short, as we fall back into our old busy schedules, while others of us will find that new and exciting adventures await around the corner. My plan is to do all of the above and more, as I continue to work on my ZEN Lifestyle.
Whatever your choices, I wish you good health and I hope you find a great peace and happiness in your heart throughout the year. May you become closer to your loved ones and friends and may those around you see a stronger, happier, more ZEN-like you.
